Empire Wrecking Co. (dba as Empire Services) evolved over the past 60 years to be recognized as one of Eastern Pennsylvania's most respected and experienced excavation and demolition specialists. Empire provides quality workmanship and timely results. Through strong management and expert planning, the company became a leading regional specialty contractor for environmental remediation, demolition, and excavation with turn key capabilities.
From the beginning in 1955, the precedent was set by founder Harry (Whitey) O’Neill Jr. that Empire Wrecking Co. would be built on hard work and a firm commitment to customer satisfaction. Under the direction of his sons, Harry and Todd O’Neill, Empire has remained focused on upholding this standard. Based in Reading, PA, Empire is centrally located to service Eastern Pennsylvania.
Today Empire supports a staff of more than 200 professionals. Many of them have been with the Empire team over a quarter of a century. They supply a depth of experience and pride to the company. Our repeat customers are a testament that Empire continues to give customer service the highest priority.

With over 300 pieces of equipment, Empire can assemble a prepared crew and be on the job site within hours.
